UPS systems – as flywheel or battery solutions

Flywheel UPS are used for higher power requirements in conjunction with an emergency generator set. 
 
The UPS's battery is widely used for smaller capacities with long backup times. The battery UPS offers the advantage that, depending upon the design, a wide range of backup times can be chosen – from 10 minutes to several hours.
