Power generators are essential wherever grid access is unavailable. They are commonly used on construction sites or permanently installed as backup systems in utilities, hospitals, or data centers. Often, generator systems in continuous operation cannot be operated at their rated capacity or subjected to a load at all. Yet, load tests (50–100%) are often required by insurers and must be conducted at regular intervals. For combined heat and power systems, such as cogeneration plants, regular load testing is critical to ensure uninterrupted operation.
Do you need a reliable partner to perform load tests on your equipment? Our mobile load bank allows full-load testing of generator systems up to 1 MW, providing an efficient solution for on-site testing. We operate nationwide with our mobile load bank and bring our services directly to your location.
A load test allows you to assess the reliability of backup power systems. By simulating load and unload cycles using our mobile load bank, we can identify weaknesses or potential issues before an actual power outage occurs.
Load tests enable the performance of backup power systems to be tested under load. This helps optimize operating parameters and ensures the system operates efficiently when it is needed most.
During load tests, potential faults or weaknesses in the backup power system can be identified. This allows for preventive measures to be taken to minimize failures in critical situations and ensure a swift restoration of power supply.
Regular load tests are often necessary to ensure that backup power systems comply with applicable regulations and safety standards. This is especially important in sensitive areas such as hospitals or data centers, where a reliable power supply is critical.
With our mobile load banks, we conveniently come to your location to perform the tests.
Zeppelin Power Systems Services
Our mobile load bank is available for load testing generator systems with a capacity of up to 1 MW, enabling testing of systems from any manufacturer.

Load testing is perfectly suited for generators that are infrequently operated or run at minimal loads.
Do you own an emergency power system without a load function? Regular load testing can also support your system to ensure it is ready for use in an emergency.
Looking to prevent faults in your generator or put it into operation? The mobile load test is here to assist you.
Was your equipment recently repaired or idle for a long time? A load test is recommended to ensure all functions are working properly.

Our mobile load bank allows us to travel across the country and provide on-site testing. Experienced field technicians test your system directly at your location, avoiding the hassle of transport and reducing downtime.

The system is gradually loaded up to 100% of its rated capacity according to the manufacturer’s specifications, and up to 110% for emergency power systems.
After the load test, you will receive a test report for your system, allowing you to review all data and serve as proof of the inspection.
Regular load testing ensures the safety of generators and emergency power systems by identifying and addressing potential weaknesses before they can lead to issues.
The testing is conducted in accordance with BGVA3 and TRBS. These guidelines and regulations establish standards for safety and secure operation.
