Effective August 1, 2025, Carolin Wolfsdörfer has taken over the management of Zeppelin Power Systems GmbH. The Supervisory Board of the Zeppelin Group approved her appointment at its meeting on July 24.

Carolin Wolfsdörfer has been part of the management team as Chief Operating Officer (COO) since April 1, 2025. She previously worked for the ZF Group for more than 38 years, where her responsibilities included establishing and managing plants in the US. She has extensive experience in drive technology, engineering, controlling, production, and business development.
"With Carolin Wolfsdörfer, we are gaining an experienced leader with strategic vision and strong implementation skills. I am convinced that she will safely and successfully guide Zeppelin Power Systems through the current transformation phase,” said Alexandra Mebus, the Zeppelin Group's CHRO.
In her new role, Carolin Wolfsdörfer will report directly to Patrick van Alem, the CEO of the Power Systems Strategic Business Unit (SBU). Van Alem became head of the SBU at the beginning of June, after the acquisition of PEPP Group BV.
"I am looking forward to continuing our collaboration and actively shaping the future of Zeppelin Power Systems," says Wolfsdörfer. "I believe that successful corporate management is based on a clear vision and a team that drives this vision forward with motivation and commitment. When these conditions are met – as they are here at Power Systems – anything is possible.”
